Can one become an IFA if sacked from High street Bank

Hi everyone,

I have worked for a high street bank for 4yrs. I am not a financial adviser, but have started my Cifa's.
My question is can I still be self employed as an IFA

I have worked for a high street bank for 4yrs. I am not a financial adviser, but have started my Cifa's. I have just been suspended for miss-selling, abuse of authority, and not for following bank procedures. I know I will be disciplined and the out come is most likely to end in dismissal for gross misconduct.

My question is can I still be self employed as an IFA

Can I ask you what role you had and the circumstances or do you want to send me a private message with the details of what they are accusing you of doing?

Are you saying that they are correct as well?

seems strange though considering misselling comes right from the top and i believe was encouraged all the way down the tree
