  • Me V Lloyds TSB

    Hi all

Am new here and would just like to say hello to one an all.

I have hoping to reclaim charges on bank account from Lloyds and have a few questions :

I sent a SAR to Lloyds and they have not complied fully and I am missing some statements etc but in order to get the ball rolling for me here I thought I would make a start with what I have got. On some statements going back to 2002 for example it says on the bottom of some statements it says excess O/Draft fee and the amount and on others its says O/Draft interest then these charges will be added on whatever date.

Do they both count as excess charges etc?

Hi. Overdraft interest is not a charge, it is the interest charged on your overdrawn balance. There will be an element of interest attracted by charges but this isn't it. Charges you can claim back are fees for bounced direct debits, cheques etc. Guarantee card payments, excess overdraft fees can also be reclaimed. Bear in mind that calims are on hold pending the outcome of the test case, unless you believe you are in financial hardship
