  • Halifax - Now receiving statements again?

I have a £500.00 overdraft with the Halifax and for sometime the account has been in dispute due to it being solely made up of charges.

I have not received a statement on this account for well over a year (after I was defaulted) last month out of the blue a statement turns up with a copy of their new charges which comes into effect in December!!??

So unless I pay the overdraft down it seems like I will suffer more charges at the hands of Halifax's new charging structure.... can they just stop and start sending statements as they see fit??

    Any thoughts?

The account should be frozen and accruing no charges at all if it has been defaulted and is formally in dispute.
