      The SAR letter can be adapted to cover the specific information you require - such as records of telephone conversatiions.

      You dont have to say why you are asking for the info at the moment. You will also see evidence of charges for late payments etc and how the debt has increased.

      you can post up the draft SAR if you want some help.

      When you have all the info you would probably then want to make an official complaint and give the Financial institutions a chance to reply. It is quite important to follow the correct complaints proceedure before complaining to the FOS . At this stage you will proabably have decided on which basis your cousin should be complaining - e.g mis-selling /charges/unaffordability etc. Sounds like it could be all of these plus more.

      Sorry it will probably be a long haul but we can all try and help at each stage.
