Oh nuddy, you naughty, naughty nuddy lol
Well you've took the loan and if thats your only hope then so be it. Maybe with the I&E sheet you can save a few bob elsewhere and make the load a bit lighter Enaid x

It's awful isn't it. To top it all, I came home and I've a letter about maternity pay (DWP) that they're asking for back, despite not writing or calling since May 2007! I feel awful though, because I just called and had a go and some unsuspecting operator who probably is as stressed as me! I'm never nasty or personal though, but I'm softy and have never lost my temper like that before ... poor poor woman

I will now write to them and complain about a number of things, one is why one call centre can provide such varying and inaccurate information, plus why I have basically been forced to accept ppi!

Thanks for your help on this, WendyB I'm sending over my budget sheet - wish I'd done this before!!!
The difficulty within the call centre environment is that they are sent out to branches fully staffed maybe for a day if that. What people assume is that branch staff either do one job or the other. You have to be a jack of all trades and unfortunately some people do not refer to more experienced staff when the don't know it. I hate blagging but I know it happens. Equally, branch staff can also provide poor information which then causes other staff huge headaches trying to piece together what has happened.
