Hi all
I hope I am posting this in the correct area.
I am in an IVA and my IP has petitioned for my bankruptcy, on attending the Bankruptcy Hearing I was successful in getting an adjournment pending consideration of an offer to my creditors. Two days after the hearing, I received the Form 6.23 from the Court - Order of Adjournment of Bankruptcy Petition. The form refers to myself and the name of my IP but it wrongly states that he is a Solicitor whereas he is an Accountant. I was aware that before going into the hearing, my IP was asked to complete a form advising the judge of our Identities and our role in the hearing. My IP must have (maybe inadvertently) stated he was a solicitor in the tick box. Surely this would have misled the judge and it should be brought to the courts attention, how can I do this ?
It has also come to my attention that my IP has be charged with professional misconduct on more than one occasion.
I need to buy some more time and hope that challenging this may do this trick.
Any advice please.
