    Re: statutory demand

thanks for your help im not very good with this technology of scanning uploading etc but have managed to do the forms and have sent them off.also looked at my credit report and found some relevant info but what do you think to this the start date was 03/11/2006 and default date was 02/01/2009 and the balance was 1,720 not the 2,192 they have said ive read on other forums that they have 6yrs to recover the debt but is that from start date or default date, its not that i dont want to pay it but im in financial difficultie at the moment and cant afford to pay it in one go.

      Re: statutory demand

The way I understand it is that the period of recovery until being SBd is from the last acknowledged payment, but I am willing to be corrected. So what's the extra £200+? Probably one of their 'court fee' ploys.

By the way: check your credit file and make sure they have not advanced the default date and put it in their name!
