  • Marston Group Charges

    Hi All
Really need some advice on this one please
While on holiday last year we had a visit from Marston group with a High Court Writ.
He left a letter with our son on headed Marston Paper stating a Marston Ref Number and list of charges.

    Judgement Debt £603.36
    Judgement Costs £147.00
    Execution Costs £111.75
    Interest to 16/7/13 £0.66
    Offices Fees £352.58

    Total Levy £1215.35

As soon as we returned I phoned Marstons and agreed to pay £125.00 per month until debt was cleared.
However I have never seen the writ and when I e-mailed them on the subject got no reply.
So far I have paid £875.00 and because I recieved no reply I stopped paying.
Marstons have now sent two letters firstly stating that we owe £513.04 and have now received another stating we owe £356.74.

Marstons say they are attending on 09 May 2014 with removal contractors as execution has not been settled.

Please help I think the officers fees are a bit steep for one visit & a phone call. Or is it best just to pay up and forget it.

    Cheers BigH
