  • Bailiffs vulnerable people?

    Hello,

I'm basically a disabled person with dependent children and wanted to know if bailiffs can cease there action if I show them that I am a vulnerable person? I received a letter from them out of the blue and wanted to know what my mode of action should be?

    What is the debt for?

As for vulnerability you need to be able to provide proof of same. If on Benefits then an Award notice should suffice. For medical reasons you may have to provide proof in the form of a letter from a medical professional. You must also remember the word is "potentially" vulnerable so each case is taken on its own merits.
