Hi All
Another one from me, So I had a parking fine from a long time ago, two Xmas’s ago, I had a letter this Jan, perhaps just before Xmas. Anyway saying I owed X amount for the parking fine, this is the first I heard about it.
Anyway that I had a letter from a baliff saying I owed money etc Although Like I suggest I gave me about a week from the first letter to this Baliff letter, When I chased it all up to see where I was up to, The Baliff said I owe £450 from a £35 parking fine originally.
Does this seems seriously Excessive, to say that when I spoke to the Baliff he had never even been to my house it was just an initial letter as far as I am aware.
Do you think I can query this before he does turn up at my house and try and put more charges on. And should I expect this to be this high charge or what?
Bit anxious on this one as it would swallow my wages up when I get paid Friday, and had a letter from the courts saying my application for a late witness statements was rejected, not sure on what grounds as I had never seen any fine previously.
