Hi everyone,
I had a bailiff letter through my door today saying he had come to my property with a van and a team to remove my vehicle for a parking fine. The letter says that I owe the bailiff company an extra £108.00 on top of an previous attendance fee for £32.00 (which I got), a letter for £11.00 (ish, which I didn't receive) and the original £80 parking fine. I know its a poor excuse but I was going to sort it out, I've just been planning my wedding and honeymoon in a v short space of time, and it kinda escaped me!
Anyway, does this fee sound about right for coming to the property with a van?
Also, I'm also a community health work who needs my car for work (I drive round people's houses all day) - can this stop them from clamping or removing the vehicle?
Any help will be greatly appreciated - I just want it sorted quickly and will pay it all (237 quid, that is) if that's whats required!
Thanks x

and a warm welcome to Legal Beagles!

The Black rat (Rattus rattus) is a common (hence the accusation of being Pleb) long-tailed rodent of the genus Rattus (rats) in the subfamily Murinae (murine rodents). The species originated in tropical Asia and spread through the Near East in Roman times (another thing that we ought to thanks the Romans for, besides roads, aqueducts and public toilets) before reaching Europe by the 1st century and spreading with Europeans across the world.
