    Hi Vixxi!

Sorry you're having such a hard time but the good people here will sort it out with you. It sounds trite - but please try not to panic or get stressed. Make yourself a cuppa (or something stronger lol) and rest assured that help is at hand x

Re: vixxi - Bailiffs at the door

thank you all so much ... i am still waiting for replies to the questions i posed to the council..... yes i have sent proof to the council and baliffs that we are classed as vulnerable (my partner on sick as awaiting operations and i am on jsa recovering from corrective surgery following masectomy due to cancer) so i guess you could say we are definatly classed as vulnerable .... the reason we are in financial trouble is due to ill health and loss of our jobs as a result. Am feeling much reassured and am having a cuppa thanks all ... i am once again grateful for all your advice and well wishes xoxo

The bailiff is speaking out of a certain bodily orifice. There are no provisions in the relevant legislation for the police to become involved.

Re: vixxi - Bailiffs at the door

What I would do over the weekend is contact your local Councillor(s) and ask for their help. best initial contact is via telephone and in my view they are available 7 days per week up until approx 9pm. If they refuse or are reluctant then go over their heads to the Leader of the Council and his opposite number.

I will also ask someone else to pop in for a look as they do know the direct access numbers for the Bailiffs Welfare Dept, hopefully they can look in over the next 24 hours,
