  • Parking fine bailiff knocking on door at 6:45

Please can someone help me. I feel I can't cope. Some time ago I had a bailiffs letter about a parking fine, coulnd n't even recall having a parking fine, I did the right thing, asked for a time out application, to be honest I let things slip after that, got a lot on my plate, youngest son in and out of hospital. I have heart probems, had been made redundant (now working) they put a letter through my door without an envelope and my son saw it, I wote to ask that they hand the debt baqck to the council due to vulnerabilty.

This morning at 6:45 there was a loud knock at the door and a bailiff was there did nt let him in but he handed me a letter the fine is now over £300 and gave me a 24 hour notice of removal, my son heard it and was very upset, kept asking me whyI was shaking.

I really don't know what to do please can any one help or point me towards any template letters, I have had problems with Jaqcobs about my council tax arears and they just keep coming back.

What bailiffs are these, and which council, have you medical evidence of vulnerability, if so send copies to the council and bailiff company. Hide any car, and DO NOT LET THE BAILIFF IN. If this is not a HMCS fine there is no right of forced entry no matter what the muppet bailiff claims.

The bailiff cannot remove any goods unless he has a valid and unlawful levy. You are vulnerable due to your heart condition. Could you advise what your heart condition is, please? The reason I am asking is to assess risk to your health by the bailiff's action. As well as being a retired policeman, I have also worked in the care sector, both professionally and voluntarily.

If the bailiff calls again and is agressive you do not have to let him in, inform the bailiff of your vulnerability, if they then ignore it, report them to the HSE for breaches of the HASWA 1974, for failure to undertake a risk assessment into the effect of their enforcement on your health.
