  • Bailiff fee left to pay!!

Hi I've paid my parking fine to the council after bailiff got involved and was put on a payment plan.
I wrote to the council and they said the fine is pay and the matter is closed.
I still have £105,left to pay the bailiffs for there hard work lol.

Now do I need to pay them the £105
can they come to my house,
Do they need a new liability order,as the council one for the parking fine is paid in full.
If anybody can advise would appreciate.

And then write back to them and tell them that as the money was paid back to the council direct, and the account is now closed, they have not actually done any work to justify the fees so you will not be paying them. Thank you very much!:closed_2:

What can they do if I refuse to pay them there fee's.
Can they come to my house and take my car without a court order,or clamp it,as the council have written to me and said the case is close, but the bailiff will chase me for there fee

What exactly did the bailiff do?

          Did he just visit once?

Did he levy distress or leave a Notice of Seizure for your motor-car or for any other goods?

            15/7/2010. Debt. £180.00. £00.00. £180.00

As the time of there visits I was under the care of my G.P following a accident at work ,and was on ESA benefit ,would I be classed as valuable?
I was on medication for depression and pain relieve.
Yet it didn't stop these scum bags from coming to my house,my £5 pw was set up by the council, not the bailiffs, but had to pay them.

If this is from 2010, won't the warrant or distress order have expired?

Probably. It doesn't alter the fact, however, that the bailiffs have made charges the law does not permit.

You need to tell the numpties they owe you money, not the other way around. If they argue, put them on strict proof that the fees charged are lawful. Charging an ATL and ATR fee on the same day is Upfront Fee Fraud - a definite no-no for the bailiff AND Collect Services Ltd and its management.

Thanks ,should I E mail the council and let them sort the bailiffs out and for them to explain there actions?
Or should I E mail Collect services for a refund, and a explanation of there free's?

Are the Bailiffs actually chasing for payment?
