I'm not an expert on this, but there are people here who are - so to help them - please explain more detail. These couple of lines won't help them help you. Give them as much information about this as you can and you'll get better advice.

As Eloise has said, could you provide us with further and better details, please. This sounds like fraudulent behaviour on the part of Marston bailiffs.

Is this a commercial premises, or a home, have you recently moved? Could you post up details of what they have actually sent, then Beagles can advise, if the debt is nothing to do with you inform marstons of the fact, and any named creditor on the letter then if they persist you may need to swear a Statutory declaration to the fact the debt is not yours and send a copy to Marstons and the creditor, ststing that if they persist you may well take injunctive action against them to make them cease and desist.

Mistaken Identity and pursuing a third party for another's debt is one of Marstons shenanigans. Other Beagles will be in later to help .

Also, try and find out who the creditor is as they would have to be included as a defendant on any injunction. Are Marstons acting as certificated bailiffs, High Court Enforcement Officers or morons, which is their more common persona.

You could brreach the Equalities Act 2010 by describing them as Neanderthal, they are collectively as intelligent as a narcoleptic amoeba, their single cell sees and smells but one thing, money, they don't care who pays, debtor or some poor sod they bully with menaces and threats into paying someone else's debt, so long as they are paid.

But, bb, a narcoleptic amoeba has more intelligence than the collective intelligence of Marstons' certificated bailiffs. Lol!

You are likely correct, but do they have more of less intelligence than rossendales, or has the marstons takeover of tossendales, diminished the gene pool?
These bailiffs probably think an injunction is a council ticket they can collect on for a motorist caught stationary in a Box Junction rather than the legal remedy used against them when they attempt to bully a third party into paying another's debt

You could but the police will likely say it is Civil. Is the letter addressed to you personally, and how much do they say is owing and what for?. It may be worth sending a stat dec to Marstons AND the creditor, especially if the name is similar to yours, and it isn't your debt.

Is it addressed to the apocryphal Mr T.H.E. Occupier, or literally just no name therefore a fishing exercise (fishing is snail mail, phishing is online)? as in they have a possible address, but have lost the debtor.
