    MKRR and welcome finance

    Some years ago I had a car on finance with welcome finance... after an unfortunate accident with the car it was written off and the insurance paid it off the value of the car at the time was £4000 when the insurance paid it off I stopped the payments for the car etc...... now some 7 years I have started getting a call from MKRR firstly they ring my mobile number asking me to confirm details to them as to who I am.... They called me ???? I confirm my name only as wont give details out over the phone...... They wont discuss it further with me unless I give them all my details which I wont do as who are these people..... I got a letter from them stating I owe them £1800 ????? due to a welcome finance debt ..... which I dont owe

    Can anyone give me some advice on this at all please its very annoying to say the least

    MKRR are NOT Bailiffs, they are just a common or garden Debt Collector.
