  • Bailiff threat

i i have recieved a threatening to remove goods from my flat due to a business council tax i apparently incurred with an ex boyfriend. I only rented the business for a few months and lost a lot of money due to being lied to.
I only have a small private pension coming in and out of it i still have to pay towards my rent and council tax where i now live.
I am so scared that they will take my furniture tv etc which are all second hand anyway. Could someone please help as i dont know what to do.

      Hi,

Please could you pad out some of the details please. I assume you are referring to NNDR's as opposed to Council Tax. In any case, it may help you to have a read of this as the systems are broadly similar:

If you could explain about your business status - sole trader, limited liability, etc...Also, please could I ask you to confirm that you are no longer resident at the business premises, and that no assets belonging to the business are in your current flat.

      Thank you.

I'm going to ask for this to be moved to bailiff issues so that more people will see it.
