Well I don't know where the HCEO came from but the originating court is Manchester and they said they had the writ from Bristol (I think) Basically the Bailiffs came, took two vintage bikes (One worth over £23,000 and the other worth about £7,000 and then sold them at a Car Show when their was a vintage Bike Show two weekends later) and they knew what the bikes were worth when they seized them. Then they came back at 7am one morning and accosted a another family member in the garden adn said they had sold the one worth £23,000 for £8,000 and the other for £3,000 and wanted to seize more goods for the difference - well you could just keep doing htat couldn't you? I amnot sure which "Pair" it is off the programme but the camera crew were there - the thing that's annoying is that the creditor duped his way into getting the payment as the ET failed but the former employer offered a compromise agreement, which the emplyee refused but then took to court and won on legal grounds and not moral ones.

I assume this was one of the cases that was on this morning. Have to say the guy didn't do himself many favours and could actually have stopped the sale if he had tried. Shame he hadn't come here.

Yes, episode 5 - unfortunately, he got into the whole situation by shouting the odds instead of listening as Mr Money was sacked and failed to appear at the ET to answer questions and wasn''t made redundant - he was sacked for theft - but it makes a good story doesn't it and I had advised Mr Burgess to come on here but he (again) didn't listen

That's a great shame as I think we could have helped him.

A great shame; unfortunately, the programme went out and he had given his permission despite my advice to withdraw it as I could see how they would spin it - but he has now got it referred back to the court
