Never done a forum thread before so this is my first time. I just need some advice in where i stand with this. I am 23 and living with parents. This morning at 9am a Bailiff was knocking on my front door therefore my Dad answered as I was not home. They told my Dad that I would need to pay £570.00 for a debt in which I have no clue what for. They then passed my Dad a Removal Notice and at the top it say's Marston Group, High Court Enforcement Officers & Certificated Bailiffs. I understand i am going to have to pay this money back but i therefore phoned up the Bailiff who came and told him i could pay back £100 and the rest at the end of the month. He therefore turned me down and said 'no' I have until tomorrow 3rd Jan 2013 at 11am to pay the full sum of money back, otherwise they will be coming back to take items from my parents property. The Bailiff was very rude and pushy towards my Dad and bulling as he was threatening my Dad that the money would need to be paid in full today Wednesday 2nd January 2013. The problem is I have no good's in my room and everything else is my parents possessions apart from my girlfriends items, as she lives here with us.

The name of the Bailiff was Mr Denk Mayor. After reading many of these forums Marston Group seem to have a lot of people complaining.

I have had no letters previously for what this debt is for and on the Removal Notice i received from him it just says Client: North West London

This will be for a Magistrates Court Fine. Do you have any knowledge of anything like this, I suspect the original fine would have been approx £270?
