  • FINAL REMINDER from Rossendales

    Hi,

Thanks to those who replied to my previous posts

This morning I got a final reminder from rossendales, it said that I would be liable for more costs when the van attends, I have been away for two weeks and got back saturday, I wonder if they have been round during that time, and got annoyed that there was no answer?

Anyway, am I right in thinking that they can't charge me if they do attend with a van, as I haven't consented to a walking possession order?

I have made some small payments directly to the council with my payment card and will do another today.

I saw also that bailiffs cost can be removed if the debt goes back to the council and you write the template letters on this site.

I would like to know if many people have had success with that, and how much aggro they got with it.

    Thanks

A Walking Possession Order is an agreement drawn up when the Bailiff has made a list of your goods he has seized (levied on), if you sign it you are consenting to him leaving the goods in situ providing certain conditions are met - usually a payment plan. Also by signing it he is entitled to charge an extra fee. This may also be called a Notice of Seizure and it does not have to signed or consented to in order for it to be valid.

    Has he seized any goods?
