  • CSA & the bailiff

i've just received a letter from rossendales regarding a claim of unpaid csa arrears, totalling £25.5k, following the grant of a liability order (which i have not been otherwise informed of). i suspect my old address was used

in brief, i was forced out of the marital home 11 years ago tomorrow and (despite court orders being in place) have been denied access to my 4 children for the majority of the time since then. they are now 13, 17, 18 & 20

i've spent the majority of the past 11 years attempting against the odds to meet my day-to-day living costs and holding a job down whilst battling in courts to retain a relationship with my children

can someone point me in the direction of an advisor who can guide me through this maze to a solution.

surely, bailiffs cannot be assigned to enforce a liability order that wasn't notified to me?

I would suggest a visit to your local Law Centre:

    http://www.lawcentres.org.uk/lawcentres/detail/find/

It is something on which you need professional advice.
