  • Urgent Need Help With Equita - Update - Thank You - We Won

Just a quick update and a big thank you to all on this site especially:
Amy, Exbailiff31, Mrs James, Wiccaqueen, Tortoise, and everyone else who posted on my thread.

I took wiccaqueens advise and made a formal complaint to the council and surprise, surprise, despite 4 letters from the Parking Appeals Manager, claiming it was nothing to do with the council and trying to wash his hands of it. One phone call to Northampton County Court TEC, an emailed Witness Statement and then hand delivering all the communications, (23 seperate emails, letters) to the CEO and with hours they are on the phone stating that they are appalled by the way it has been handled and that "THEY HAVE INSTRUCTED EQUITA TO CLOSE THE CASE AND CEASE ALL ACTION WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT"

Believe me without all the help and advise I have received and information gained from Amys Bailiff Guide, SAR etc I would never have been successful with this.

This website is fantastic and my advise to anyone if you are going through the rubbish I was with Equita take Wiccaqueens advise and go straight to the top and contact the CEO. it is amazing when you do how quick things can be resolved.

I am now just waiting for my reply to my SAR and if they are making claims in it for visits that did not take place then I will be the one going after them, HUNTED TURNS HUNTER :tung:

Thank you all again for your help and I will update any further developments

If you have to sue the ba:censored:ds, win and then need to enforce the judgement, might one suggest that section 5 of the Debtors Act 1869 - link - might be appropriate? As you can see, it has not been repealed and, as it has not been used for many years, if you can get a committal order, the news should get into most newspapers.
