    Re: phillips bailliff

kazb, forgive me saying this, and I'm not having a go, but tomorrow a whole week will have passed since Wendy and I almost simultaneously advised you needed to write for a breakdown of fees, and as yet the letter has not gone.

You really need to get this off. By all means pursue through the fines officer as well - I googled him for about 30 minutes earlier and could find no reference to him, I don't know if you had any success. That breakdown is important though, as if the bailiffs realise it, they could insist the council pay their fees (and the council might just pay them in full) from the money you've paid, and then you'll find yourself in a worse predicament.

Please try to get it posted, it really is in your own interests to do so.

It's not a council tax or parking fine query, it's in relation to a fine that was imposed by the Court for compensation payable. I made the same mistake earlier (post #44)

        Re: phillips bailliff

I understand but hubby sent letter to them and they still wont give name of bailiff or breakdown so Monday letter went recorded delivery waiting for answer. \said we needed a breakdown which was more importent. First priority
2nd priority was name of bailiff

3rd was any proof they have he came

finally we need the phone calls to end and we will only deal with them by letter Waiting for a reply

the guy who called on the phone was the supervisor for the bailiffs. Philips must have really annoyed him because they even said he needed a court document to say where bailiff was certificated.

and he knows all about bailiffs who make these imaginary visits. Actually I found his name and job on the local courts list - mr sheel not philips bailiff - his details seem ok

must say we have had no phone calls today

That's good then, seems as if he may have told the bailiffs to back off, and put the ase on hold for now. If I were you I would detail all your complaints/concerns to him in writing and request that he replies in writing confirming what actions he has taken in regards to this matter. Ring him and get an email address so that you can email the letter to him and get a reply by email too, although in some cases they will only reply in writing for security purposes.

            Wendy,

Views on a Form 4 against the company for their total lack of co-operation.

OP - that's really good news and I'm glad you found Mr Sheel. It seems he is actually being proactive which is exactly what you need.

              Re: phillips bailliff

A Form 4 has to be completed against the bailiff, not the bailiff company. The form 4 asks for the name of the bailiff and the court where he/she was certificated. As Kaz does not have the name of the bailiff, apart from Agent 421, she will not be able to complete a Form 4 at this stage.

Well, I've learned something today thanks Wendy. Always thought Form 4 could be used against a bailiff or a company.

                  Philips have been defeated

Thank you for all the help. If it hadnt been for all your support I would have caved in some time ago.

Mr Ian Sheel looked at their breakdown, how the first warrent of distress was issued, the fake bailiff visit and the run around.

Turns out that lovely gentleman was employed by Northumbrian courts and is the supervisor for the courts bailiffs.

Will get Peter to explain later and show the email.

But thank you all for your help and the moral support
