  • Going out of my head with worry

I am a first time poster although i visit daily to read advice but now im needing my own advice,
I have council tax arrears which have spiraled out of control and i need desperate help as how to sort this out as its making me ill,the first council tax arrears dates back to 1999-2009 this is for £6280 and this is with equita baliffs they have sent numerous letters and ive also had 2 visits,im not working and am a low income but they don't listen,i have tried ringign the council directly but they won't listen,i did set up a plan but couldn't afford to keep up the payments,

Second is with jacobs for council tax arrears,i have been paying them and have paid most of this debt off but i still owe them £331.80,the man from jacobs called last week and as i couldn't pay it all said he would give me a week to pay in full or he was sending the van round,

The bailiff from equita hasn't been in my house but i think a bailiff did come into my house from jacobs but not the same one that is calling now

I have an appointment with the citizens advice but not until the 29th of june

Im in desperate need as this is making me ill i ahve even thought about ending it all so i don't have the worry can someone please help me

Have a read of the guide if you haven't already done so Bailiff Guide - Legal Beagles Consumer Forum

Do you know what charges have been added and what for? If not, you should think about sending a SAR (there is a link to a letter you can send in the bailiff guide above).

Did the bailiff from Jacobs who you believe may have entered your house, leave you any paperwork?
