How to stop bailiff going to wrong address

Bailiff letters from court are coming to my house for my mother who moved out with her things sometime ago. We, my sister and I, have started to rebuild our life and do not know our mothers new address. There is nothing of my mothers here. What can we do to stop them coming and taking our things.

Please help if you can.

Have you written to them to tell them she no longer lives at the property?

Obviously the first thing, as Amy says is to tell them. There are other obvious things like is she still on the electoral roll? Paying council tax?

Ultimately you can spend £10ish and do a sworn affadavit at a solicitors saying she does not live there and none of the property in the house belongs to her.
