    Hello Im new here ,
My husband and I have been separated for 10 years, he dosent live here! he has no possesions at my house, and he isnt on the electoral role all bills are being paid by me. Recently I came home to a hand delivered notice for my husband from Newlyns for the sum of £535.49 (from a baliff called Mr Hockburn! ) this is for an unpaid parking fine that he had appealed against.
I telephoned mr Hockburn and told him the debt isnt mine and have proof my husband dosent live here, to which he wasnt interested in..he stated that the vehicle was registered to my address. ( My husband works all over the country and lives in a caravan so uses this address)
What Im concerned with is can he break into my home to remove my possesions I am out for 12 hours a day most days so am extremley worried by this? What rights do I have?
    Thank you in anticipation
    Paula

    Re: Newlyns

No, he cannot break in and since it is not your debt there is absolutely nothing he can do.

If he contacts you again, then post back.
