no ive never been taken to court,other than the original letter off the pub co in sept 09,we moved here in april 09, and we had £4,000 of credit transfered from our last pub to this, my area manager has been fighting our corner stating that if i had owed this money then, we wouldnt have been given another pub, and they wouldnt have transfered the credit ,we had lots of meetings over it, then no mention of it, until now! and they have found a way of getting the money,can the new owners kick me out? my tenancy is until sept!

Is this debt being collected under the The Distress for Rent Act, do you know?

i dont know, ive only had letters from the solicitors that they work for demanding the money, but i have been advised from the community lagal advise today, after they read my lease and latters from them, that we are protected from eviction on the order 1977,so hopefully that might calm down,all we wanted was reasonable time to find somewhere to live, annette.
