Marston - Parking Ticket

Just had Marston bailliff leave a note threatening to break into my house for a council parking ticket that has risen to over £400!

Is there anything I can do to cease enforcement and have the ticket back down to a normal level?

Did you have any prior knowledge of the ticket? Have you previously appealed it? Have you received a letter from Marston prior to their visit?

No, its from 2019 - no appeal. Think Marston wrote to a different address
