I think any sane person would agree that if the Mother, MT, ignored the fact that her brother and then BT had abused and harmed her children then she should not have custody and they should have an opportunity to live in a safe and peaceful environment. The more I learn about these cases the less regard I have for social services but I think in this case the long catalogue of incidences that make up this families history speaks for itself. I do not think you need days of arguing points of law to see what the correct action is in this case, tragic though it is.
I do worry that the Mother did not have legal representation after the February trial.
An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good'!
