Alternatives to Defamation

We are a small business and are being trolled by an ex-employee who has set up in competition to us. They are posting negative reviews all over the internet about us. We've taken a number of posts down but as fast as we post, she refiles the same nonsense somewhere else. We took legal advice that confirmed that the posts are defamatory but the cost of defamation is ridiculous as it has to be issued in the High Court.
is there something else we can hit her with?

This situations are always difficult. Harassment legislation protects individuals rather than businesses.

Th e advice I have always given clients is to concentrate on promoting their reputation rather than dissipating energy on a bitter individual.

I don't suppose there was a non-compete clause in this individual's employment contract with your company.

What sort of evidence you have of their responsibility?
