Time limits

Please can someone tell me if there is time limit on keeping a Stay on a Case - can it be brought back to life through the Court after 3 years?

Some debt collectors/solicitors are trying to do this....!!

I was told the Stay can only be in place for 6 months.

Would love to hear from anyone who knows.

There is no time limit on a claim being stayed in England and Wales.
