    Hi

im asking on advice on where to send a cca request. I have recieved a letter before action from solicitors acting on behalf of a DCA stating all dealings must go through them, should I send it to the DCA or the solicitors ?

Re: where to send a cca request

    Hi & welcome to LB.

A ss77, 78 or 79 CCA request + fee should be sent to the creditor.
S189 defines the creditor, inter alia, as being an assignee (ie a firm who has bought the rights to the benefits of the alleged debt).
We normally suggest also sending a copy of the request without the fee to the solicitors 'for information purposes only'.

    Always get proof of postage.
