Thank you, I really appreciate your support through this forum.

What type of solicitor do we need to deal with this issue?

Re: 35 years of co habiting. What rights can one claim?

A litigation specialist for the property rights (or a specialist family lawyer).
So any firm with a litigation department should suffice at this stage.
The care fees issue I would say you can explore yourself on line at this stage.
I am a qualified solicitor and am happy to try and assist informally, where needed.

Any posts I make on LegalBeagles are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as legal advice. Any practical advice I give is without liability. I do not represent people on the forum.

If in doubt you should always seek professional face to face legal advice.

I think this is the answer you need here xx

Most firms who have a litigation department should be able to give the advice that you need. If they have property litigation specialists all the better, but don't panic at this stage this is just to get the overview really on the options that may be available, so that you can be in a better position to deal with the daughter's demands now.
If this is about the property and what will happen to it then there are options there too even if your Aunt has no claim under ToLATA, you have mentioned that you have been mediating between them already, this may be helpful.
