Hi
I've recently exercised my right to terminate my finance agreement with SEAT early. It all went smoothly and the car was collected with no fuss and no wear and tear penalties (the car was under 3 years's old and in good condition). I have since received an invoice for excess mileage charges. It is for more than I expected and they have added VAT. I have read that I am not legally obliged to pay this and can dispute or fight it.
I wondered if anyone can advise me on the following please?
1) How do I correctly go about fighting or disputing it?
2) Will this affect my credit rating? I understand the early termination won't - but surely having the non payment of EM hanging over me until the matter is settled WILL?
Appreciate any advice anyone can give!
Many thanks
