Just a quick question, i wonder if you can help.
Ive looked online and cant find much info...
Basically Ive been working for the same company full time (40h week) for 10 years. My job title or role hasnt been officially changed, I still have the same contract.
Now I requested to go down to part-time (20h week) and they have agreed. Does this change need a new contract? Or is a signed written statement from me and the employer (listing the agreed changes to the contract) enough?
My only worry is if this change in working hours will count as a different job/position and then my 10 years of work wouldnt count in case of redundancy. So they could let me go in a few months and not pay me any redundancy?
Would be greateful for any advice!
