July 2016 a debt collection agency took on two of my credit card debts.I wrote saying why both were,in my view and following legal advice, unenforceable. DCA said they would investigate and get back to me.
For almost a year,I have had no response in respect of one card debt, and just now,in respect of the second debt,a short letter saying they would not be pursuing legal action 'at this time' but still asking me to contact them to arrange repayment of the debt.
Is this DCA-speak for coming as close as they are likely toadmitting the debt is unenforceable,or what?
