Hi everyone
My son has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer of the brain.(diagnosis 4-6 months to live)
My problem is that due to his intolerable living situation with his new wife, who can't cope and has made his life unbearably unhappy with continual insults regarding his condition ( has short time to live). He has left the matrimonial home and is sofa surfing.
He is basically homeless.
I want to let him use my tourer caravan on my drive for a few weeks at least, until his illness and condition dictates that he goes into palliative care in a hospice.
He is helpless and will slowly lose his ability to move about etc. can't drive etc
I just want to know the practical implications of him sleeping in the caravan at night, regards, do I need permission for this or what do I do, regards council etc…..
its only a temporary measure .
the caravan is normally stored away from my house in a barn
We have one neighbour who will make it difficult for me so I just want some reasonable legal suggestions plea,.
thsank
