Hi,
This time last year , I signed up for a training course with train 4 jobs to obtain electrician quals.
when the sales person came round, he said I would only need a few weeks practical work but in fact, I would need 9 weeks. He also claimed all expenses for travel ect will be paid for but after reading the small print, it says all travel is paid for AFTER completion of the course. The course is badly written out and their customer service is awful.
I have currently found myself an apprenticeship as an electrician which is get me in the position I have wanted to get to but it means a big pay cut and I will struggle to pay for the course.
My biggest issue is the software they provided with the course. It is a virtual practical simulator you can use at home but It has bugs and crashes. I have tried it on multiple computers and it still doesn't work. I am a computer engineer so it not due to lack of knowledge. I have emailed them, asking them to resolve the issue and they have emailed me back saying how the software is only supplementary and doesn't effect my learning on the course. I have paid for this software in the course and I feel if it isn't working then it should be resolved. I have emailed them asking to cancel due to this issue and they are completely refusing.
Do I have a leg to stand on as I really can't afford to pay for this course and take an apprentice pay cut.
I feel this training provider has just taken my money and don't care about providing me the service they promised
Thank you,
Luke
