A Trust Deed is a Scottish equivalent of an IVA. But as you are linking the deed of trust to a house, are you talking about something else such as an inheritance under a Will when you are in an IVA?

Sorry, you need to explain in detail what your query is.

Hi sorry yes I think it may be called a declaration of trust . I suspended my I v a while I had a baby and then my partner put his house in a declaration of trust so that when he dies the house goes to me . He did that because his ex wife was going to try and get more money from him and she already had the family house pensions contents cars so he wanted the house in a trust to me. Is that allowed in a I v a as I have not received any money . My I v a then failed and I am paying creditors

Was this just in his Will? That wouldn't affect your IVA at all but equally it wouldn't change the ownership of the house.

It sounds as though the ownership of the house may have been changed? This must have been done through a solicitor, what did the solicitor say about your IVA?
