After submitting a ppi claim to mbna for an old credit card in April, I received a final response letter today upholding my claim, but I'm struggling to understand exactly how much they are refunding;
-Total amount of PPI premiums charged since sale date = £1,704.33
-Total amount of fees refunded = £87.00
-Total amount of associated interest = £949.89
-Applicable 8% gross interest = £1,255.90
-Less UK withholding tax = -£251.18
They haven't stated the total refund amount.........The credit card was taken out in 2001 and unused since 2006.
They just state that payment will be made in the next 28 days........
Does anyone have experience of this?
