Marriage certificate help

Firstly. Thank you for accepting me into your forum.
My friend got married in Cancun in 2001
She needs her marriage certificate to get divorced. I'm coming to Cancun on Tuesday and would like to get this for her.
Firstly, is it possible and if so how would I go about it. I'll be there for 2 weeks.

Hi and welcome, no idea am afraid but if it were me I would start with the British Consulate for info
