Getting a copy of my Will

Hi, I'm new to this, so hope you can help with my question.
I need to get a copy of my Will, which I made in, and lodged with, a branch of the Midland Bank, back in 1979!
The copy I received has been destroyed.
Does anyone know how I can go about this?

Hi and welcome,
Your original will is still with Midland (now a part of HSBC) ? If so it will be in a deposit box that a charge is usually made annually and would show on any statements.
