Good evening. I would like someone to answer another question relating to holidays leave.
The contract state that I am entitled to 28 working day of holiday in each leave year inclusive of all statutory and public holidays. I had asked my employer to explain to me if that include public holidays which is: Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year Day are these parts of my 28 day holiday?
2. Follows with the other Public holidays which consist of: Easter Monday, Early May bank holiday, spring bank holiday, summer bank holiday and Boxing Day are these not a public holiday as well?
Now my employers are stating that I am only entitled to 20 days instead of the 28 days holiday which is written in my contract. I had asked, if that the case regarding the 8 public holidays I which to work on those days. My question is, is this possible?
