Hi all, my friend has been suspended for nearly three months as he was forced to raise a grievance in order to try and receive mediation for bullying and harassment and sexual discrimination. No mediation occured or was offered. This overly long suspension (documented on false grounds) has led to the grievance investigation dismissing his allegations and taken him to the end of his probation period whereby they have invited him to a hearing stating he has failed to work well within the team and will be dismissed. It seems the suspension was intentional to get this person out of the way throughout the probation period. Does anyone know if periods of non-attendance at work are able to be counted towards a probationary period? No other probationary meetings have taken place since he started the jo
