  • Employment tribunal Scotland

    Hi all
I have been in the process of taking my past employer to a tribunal for unfair dismissal. I have been using the service of a lawyer who has overseen the case through the conciliation process to the point we have our certificate. I have recently started working and to proceed now with my case my lawyer has stated that I'd need to pay him £2000 plus VAT to proceed as he can't get the amount he requested from the Legal Aid board. I have to lodge by Fri 24/03/17 to proceed. I'm afraid I can't afford to pay my lawyer to proceed so I was hoping to receive some advice on how to proceed myself.
    Thanks in advance.

Have you got legal cover on any insurance policy ? (house, car etc)

The online process is easy to do if you know the claimant and early conciliation certificate number. If you have already laid out the details then it should be fairly straight forward to enter it in to the online form.
