  • ParkingEye - Taking me to court for failing to give full car registration

Last August the driver used a ParkingEye car park in Derby. Paid the required fee for the day (£5 - I have a copy of the ticket) Later received a notice claiming £100 because the driver had entered only the last three letters of my car registration.
At first I treated it as a joke and eventually took it to appeal with POPLA and to my astonishment I lost the appeal.

The reason given was that the Terms and Conditions are clearly shown at the site and state that the full registration must be given.

Do I go to Court? Can I win? Should I just cough up the £100 and chalk it up to experience?
Help and Advice would be much appreciated

    The questions are,

Did the driver actually enter 3 digits or was the machine faulty ?

Were the signs clear, legible and prominent ?
