£1500 was if i recall correctly for counsel to represent at trial.

This is sadly what happens when you launch a claim off the cuff without getting proper advice, barristers generally will not take the risk on a no win no fee when the case is on such a poor footing.

It's been well over two months after the hearing, I have complained to the solicitors regulation authority about TLT Solicitors as the court awarded them £6700 in there favour which is unfair I have sent the courts my appeal I need to send them more info as they are after wages etc from being self employed, if I do not hear anything from TLT regarding this do I still owe them any money?

Yes, you owe the costs. It sounds like you have asked for time to pay or something - did you actually speak with TLT after the order to try and make an arrangement ? What pApers have you actually submitted to court ? Anytime you go back to the court you do risk more costs being awarded against you.

Okay. First, have you submitted a formal appeal of the judgment to the court ?

Sorry your case was struck out , why were you unable to attend the hearing, I don;t know, but of there was some real family emergency on the day because you did have notice.

Sadly you had been advised you could face costs against you and I know 6K sounds a lot but in the legal world it isn't really. Solicitors can charge 200+ per hour and vat , barristers can charge maybe 10 times that

A wise warning, in this country law & justice doesn't come cheap.

Cheer's Spirit called TLT saying that charges were unfair they sound dodgy said that I can only afford a pound a month so they wont be getting much they cant expect me to pay £6700 as I have not got it, I appealed without a hearing I had sickness and diarreoae on the day wasnt good. I told them this.

Have you asked to vary the order for the costs being payable forthwith, to installment? - or actually submitted a full formal appeal on the judgment ? ( and the bank statements etc are for fee remission ?)

Maybe you could post the order you have had from the court, or what you submitted to the court. It would help.
