  • Welcome Finance Fixed Sum loan Agreement

In 2004 I took out a secured loan agreement with Welcome Finance, in 2006 my house was repossessed as I got myself into all sorts of trouble, most of which are paid off now and I'm back on the straight and narrow, however I still have welcome finance hanging around my neck.

In January 2007 they turned up at my mother in laws house off spec and caught me off guard, in order to get them to leave I ended up signing an agreement with them (The only way I could get the guy to leave).

In short I have made payments over the years and missed an odd few here and there however my balance doesn't seem to be going down, the settlement figure now being £9500 despite paying off close to £20k. Long and short of it I asked them for a copy of my agreement as I didn't have one and they sent back this agreement which I clearly haven't signed, they do however say they have another copy which I have and ive asked them for a copy of it, however I'm sure looking at the agreement again and reading a few bits on this forum that the agreement isn't actually enforceable or executable as certain bits are missing, IE total amount repayable, witness details illegible, no details of the original loan agreement this replaces Can anyone give me any advice on this??
