  • Understanding legal language!!

    Hello
I think I know the answer but I want to be sure. I asked my lawyer a question, I didn't totally understand the response - feel a bit daft going back to say, thanks but what does that actually mean.
Question me as the seller- 'who's liable for costs over and under £300?' Received this response
    - 'no claim will be available or competent to the purchasers for any items or claims amounting to the aggregate value to less than £300.'

So does that mean all costs under £300 are the responsibility ie to be paid by the seller (me)?

It depends what this relates to and how it falls into place with everything else. Don't feel stupid asking them to clarify what they mean, they are acting on your behalf and they should be able to explain clearly what it means to you. I would suggest you get them to confirm in writing what that response means in the context of your rights available to you.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you
