Could someone tell me the best place to get advise about a wrongful theft accusation of a child. The store have ignored head office twice and i don't know what to do if they don't listen to their head office. Tia Kelly. This is how it goes....
Hi my 12yr old daughter was stopped in Asda for stealing. They put her in a room with myself telling us they have it on cctv and they were calling police. My daughter had a panick attack and sufferes with a heart condition and was just doing the Xmas shopping 2 days b4 Xmas with her mom. After security shouting at her about police they then said we was free to go. My daughter was in a terrible state and it's all on cctv. I call the store once home because something wasn't right. They told me they sorry and it was a glitch with cctv the reason they missed her putting it back. They asked me to take my daughter in the next day for a apology and they offered her £10. I told them it was a insult and then a fight broke out in store with some woman. I told the manager i was taking my daughter home as she was upset enough and don't want to be seeing things like that. I phoned head office and made a complaint. They told me they spoke to store manager and told him he had to call me with resolution. No one called me. I called head office again and again they called store manager and told me he would call by the next morning. The next evening head office call me to be told no one called. They were gobsmacked and said it's now passed the apology stage and someone will call me tomorrow. If they take no notice of head office then could someone tell me what's the next step to take pls and can they really treat someone like this? Thanks for reading i know it's long.
